Kids raved about The Incredibles when it first hit theaters in 2004 and when Janet Jackson recently watched the film with her baby son, Eissa Al Mana, 1, it instantly became the mother-son duo’s favorite Disney movie, too. In a new interview with Radio Disney, Janet, 52, candidly explained why the action-packed film stole her heart.

“My favorite Disney movie, I have to say, it’s what I just watched with my son on the flight here,” Janet revealed. “We didn’t have the headphones on or anything and he was cracking up the entire time and that’s what really made it my favorite.”

Janet’s first child, Eissa, has taught her a lot of new life lessons since she welcomed him into the world with her ex-husband Wissam Al Mana more than a year ago. In May 2018, Janet opened up to Billboard about the endless love that she has received from her son.

“My son, even in his short 17 months on the planet, has [shown] me that love, no matter how deeply you believe you have experienced that emotion, can always go deeper,” she previously said. “Day after day and night after night, holding my baby in my arms, I am at peace.”

Janet added, “Love is limitless. And for someone like me, raised in show business where self-concern is always a priority, how fortunate I am now to be concerned, first and foremost, with the welfare of someone else.”

Eissa can always rely on Janet to give him the best advice, too. If he decides to follow in his mother’s footsteps and become a singer, Janet will most likely tell him what what she tells her younger fans. “Make sure you keep time to not just your work but be a kid and enjoy the things in life that kids do enjoy,” she told Radio Disney. “Be with your friends. Enjoy yourself.”
