Once again, Ivanka Trump has started a controversy on the Internet. Apparently, the First Daughter changed her Twitter bio around the same time as the highly-publicized Women’s March, and users on the social media platform aren’t happy about it.
Her previous bio read, “Wife, mother, sister, daughter. Entrepreneur & advocate for the education & empowerment of women & girls. This is my personal page. Views expressed are my own.” And now, it reads, “Wife, mother, sister, daughter. Advisor to POTUS on job creation + economic empowerment, workforce development & entrepreneurship. Personal Pg. Views are my own.”
Twitter users proceeded to share their dismay after reading the updated bio. “LOL, Ivanka’s feminism is as empty as her updated Twitter bio,” one follower wrote. Another added, “As the #WomensMarch2018 weekend comes to a close, please note @IvankaTrump has recently changed her @Twitter bio — IT NO LONGER INCLUDES “Entrepreneur + passionate advocate for the education and empowerment of women and girls.” Poor Ivanka…
This isn’t the first time she’s been majorly slammed on social media. Over the summer, she was called out on Twitter for misquoting Albert Einstein. After that, actress and model Chrissy Teigen boldly corrected Ivanka for misusing the word “otherwise” while sharing a photo of herself with her newborn nephew.
But even though Ivanka has some haters, there are many people who actually want to be just like the blonde beauty! Apparently, women are spending thousands of dollars on plastic surgery to look just like her!
“I never saw [anyone wanting Ivanka’s face] before the primary,” New York plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe revealed. “Since the summer of ’16…[it’s been] maybe four a month; one a week.” He added, “Maybe they just like the look, but also that [Ivanka’s] a powerful woman, self-confident, part of the first family. Do they want to be her? Yes, deep down, maybe.” Interesting!
