When Is Hoda Kotb Coming Back to the ‘Today Show’? We’ve Got the Answer!
Since Hoda Kotb adopted her baby girl Haley in February, many viewers have been wondering when she's coming back to the Today Show.
Well fans, you're in luck! After a two-month-long maternity leave, Hoda will be returning to the morning talk show on Monday, April 17! The series aired a promo during NBC's Nightly News on Wednesday, April 12 stating that the fan-favorite will soon be back in her seat alongside BFF Kathie Lee Gifford.
Her surprise return comes shortly after her co-star Savannah Guthrie ended her own maternity leave early, reportedly because executives were "panicked" about the show's decreased ratings in her absence.

"The show was in a free fall. She initially announced that she’d be returning on Friday, March 3, but they were in a panic… and called her back early," an industry insider recently told Page Six. Is this the case with Hoda, too?
The promo clip also teased we will be seeing "more of Hoda every morning with Matt [Lauer] and Savannah" even though the new mom is known for hosting the last hour of Today. So exciting!

However, nothing will beat the bond between Kathie Lee and Hoda! On Friday, April 7, the two celebrated their nine-year anniversary hosting the morning show together.
"I want to say something to you, Kath, on our ninth anniversary," Hoda began on her call-in to the program that day. "My life has changed so profoundly since I met you. Profoundly."
"I told you this before, but I cannot believe the path my life took after our lives intersected," she continued while beginning to cry. "So for every single day of the nine years, I love you."

"Hoda, I love you with all my heart," Kathie Lee replied. "I have been blessed two times to work with the most extraordinary people in the world, and it just keeps getting better." So sweet!
