She became famous for saving shows like Melrose Place and Spin City by joining their casts, and now Heather Locklear is on a mission to save herself. After her recent run-ins with the law, she’s checked into rehab and has found inspiration from Maria Shriver’s best-seller, I’ve Been Thinking… Reflections, Prayers, and Meditations for a Meaningful Life.

“Great book,” Heather, 56, recently wrote on Instagram along with a picture of her beloved dog. “Mister gives it four paws up. Heather’s loved ones have been rallying around her during this difficult time. “Her daughter, Ava [Sambora], her mom and dad, her siblings, and even her ex, Richie Sambora, have been to see her,” an insider exclusively told Closer Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now.

“Heather feels that emotionally she’s on her way to living a healthy lifestyle 24/7,” the source added. She hit rock bottom earlier this year, and Heather is determined to bounce back. “She was really at the end of her rope,” the insider said. “Her recovery is a miracle.”

Of course, the real test will come when Heather is released from the rehab facility where she’s been staying since July. “She feels safe inside treatment,” the source said. “With meditation and therapy, she’s building her spiritual life back.” Her fans are praying for Heather and rooting for her to find happiness once again.
