After taking a 15-year hiatus from Hollywood, Goldie Hawn has returned to the spotlight with her latest film, Snatched — and, in a new interview, she admitted the comedy made her realize how much she's missed acting!
"A break from anything we do sometimes is a good thing," the 71-year-old star recently told Harper's Bazaar. "I forgot how much fun [acting] was. I came out going, 'I could do it again!'"
In Snatched — which hit theaters on May 12 — Goldie played Linda Middleton, the worrywart single mom of comedienne Amy Schumer's character, Emily Middleton. The flick followed the mother-daughter duo as they are abducted while on vacation in South America. It was Goldie's first film since 2002's The Banger Sisters.
After Goldie rang in her milestone 70th birthday in November 2015, the actress decided she was ready to make a big career comeback. "Goldie has new goals to accomplish," a friend of the actress previously told Closer. "It’s her third chapter, she knows that, and she wants to get it all right."
In an effort to revamp her Hollywood success, Goldie also focused on getting back in shape. "She always says you’re as young as you feel, and she still feels like a 30-year-old," the friend added. "She’s healthy, and vibrant, and comfortable in her own skin."

"[Goldie is] doubling down on working out. She’s never really just committing to one solid routine. Her big word is 'diversity.' Every day is different so she never gets bored of her workouts," an insider revealed in another interview with Closer.
Goldie's new regimen has definitely paid off — she looks better than ever! "She’s lost at least 15 pounds," nutrition expert Lisa DeFazio, MS, RD, who has not worked with Goldie, told Closer. "Her hips are more narrow, her legs are slimmer and she’s lost weight around her stomach and waist."
We're so glad you've returned to acting, Goldie!
