Debbie Reynolds’ Last Words Revealed: “I Want to Be With Carrie”

Heartbreaking.

One day after Debbie Reynolds‘ tragic death at age 84 on Wednesday, Dec. 28, the iconic Hollywood star’s only son, Todd Fisher, has revealed his mother’s emotional last words.

“I miss her so much. I want to be with Carrie,” Debbie said, according to Todd, before having a stroke.

The day prior to her passing, the Singin’ in the Rain star’s daughter, Carrie Fisher, died at age 60 after suffering a heart attack days earlier.

“She wanted to be with Carrie,” Todd, 58, told Variety of his mom’s death.

Debbie was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Wednesday while suffering a medical emergency. She was at Todd’s Beverly Hills home discussing Carrie’s funeral arrangements when she fell ill around 1 p.m.

She was taken by EMTs to a nearby emergency room after someone from Todd’s house called 911 to report a possible stroke. She allegedly died in the hospital hours later.

The Hollywood legend and her late husband Eddie Fisher — who died at age 82 of complications from a hip surgery in 2010 — welcomed daughter Carrie in October 1956 and son Todd in February 1958. Debbie and Eddie were married from 1955 until 1959.

She was later hitched to Harry Karl from 1960 until 1973 and Richard Hamlett from 1984 to 1996.

Carrie — most known for playing Princess Leia in the Star Wars films — sadly died on Tuesday, Dec. 27 after suffering a heart attack on a flight from London to LA days earlier on Friday, Dec. 23.

The actress’ only child, daughter Billie Lourd, 24 — whom she welcomed in July 1992 with her ex-partner, talent agent Bryan Lourd, 56 — confirmed the news of her mother’s passing in a statement released by family spokesperson Simon Halls.

“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” the message began.

“She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers,” the statement read.
