She is back and better than ever! In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke— who can also be seen on Lifetime’s Dance Moms — opened up about her return to the franchise and her partner for this season, Terrell Owens. Does she think they have what it takes to take home the Mirrorball Trophy?

“I definitely think we can win! Terrell is an athlete, and I always love working with athletes. He has a huge, strong personality — as do I — so sometimes it’s a lot of fun and sometimes just a lot of work, but it definitely keeps us on our toes,” she explained, adding, “I think Lindsay and Jordan are really strong, but at the end of the day, Terrell is his own biggest competition and has his own struggles so we focus on ourselves.”

This season marks a special one for Cheryl, who recently reunited with her boyfriend, Matthew Lawrence, as it’s her 20th season! “It’s always great to go back and work with everyone on the show because it really is like family,” she explained. “These are the people who have watched me grow into the person I am today.”

One thing the famed dancer says viewers of both Dance Moms and Dancing With the Stars is that “[she’s] not a yeller, but [she is] strict. I try to get the best out of my students, and I will be stern.” In past DWTS seasons, Cheryl was paired up with Rob Kardashian, Chad Ochocinco, Rick Fox, Chris Jericho, and William Levy.

Catch Cheryl on Dancing With the Stars on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC and Dance Moms on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
