Céline Dion is doing her best to stay strong in the wake of her beloved husband René Angélil's tragic death.
The 47-year-old actress stepped out with her three children — René-Charles Angélil, 14, and twins Eddy and Nelson, both 5 — on Thursday, Jan. 21 and Friday, Jan. 22 to attend a public visitation and memorial service, respectively, for her late spouse at Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal, Québec. René sadly passed away at age 73 after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, Jan. 14.

“René was actually doing pretty well over the holidays. He was in very good spirits,” a friend close to the couple told Closer Weekly of his final days. “Everyone feels now that René — even subconsciously — knew he was at the end.”
“He found some inner energy to really be present for his family during the holiday celebrations," the insider continued. At Christmas, while Céline was on a break from her Las Vegas show, “she tried to make all the lasting memories that she could,” the friend added.
