At the event, Céline will perform a rendition of one of Queen’s songs. “Céline Dion has a huge repertoire of monster hits and she personally chose to perform “The Show Must Go On” as her Icon performance at the Billboard Music Awards. I think at this moment in her life, the song has many meanings,” the show’s executive producer, Mark Bracco, recently told Billboard. “It is an amazing choice.”
Céline is the fifth star to receive this coveted award. Past recipients include Neil Diamond, Prince, Jennifer Lopez and Stevie Wonder.
Congratulations, Céline!
