In honor of her grandson’s birthday, Candy Spelling recently reunited with her daughter, Tori Spelling, at a lavish party at Giggle N Hugs in Topanga Canoga Park, California, for her son Beau Dean McDermott’s 2nd birthday. Even though “things were tense for a while between the two,” according to Us Weekly, the mother and daughter duo put their differences aside to shower their little bundle of joy in an over-the-top bash.

Prior to the party on Saturday, March 2, the mom-of-five took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday shout-out to her youngest child with husband Dean McDermott. “2 IS THE NEW 1! Happy 2nd Birthday to one of the greatest loves of my life,” the 45-year-old gushed in the caption. “Beau Dean McDermott, you are one of the most positive, energy-charged humans I have ever met. You bring pure joy, love, laughter and light into everyone’s life. Blessed to call myself your mommy. Thanks for choosing me. Beau 2.0.”

Filled with family, friends and one scrumptious-looking cake, we’re glad to see that Candy and Tori were able to get together to celebrate at Beau’s birthday bash.
