Get well soon, Bob Barker. The Price Is Right former host was unfortunately hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA on Monday, Oct. 22 after experiencing an “increased level of pain,” his manager confirmed to People. Two weeks before that, Bob suffered a non-emergency back injury at his home.

“He’s awake and alert. He’s resting and going through evaluations,” his manager shared of the 94-year-old, adding that they called 9-1-1 to assist him at the time. “It was painful and difficult to get him in a private vehicle. We decided it was easier and better for him.”

Bob’s back injuries come over one year after he fell and hit his head in his home back in June 2017. 9-1-1 was again called that time and he was rushed to the hospital. It was later reported that he was “doing fine” after the scare. Two years before that, he fell outside his home and suffered some head lacerations and a knee injury. At the time, his rep suggested that Bob was in great health before the accident. “He works out every day and is disappointed that he’ll have to take a little break until he heals,” he said at the time.

The TV personality has had a long string of health issues dating back to a minor stroke in 1991, a stroke and hospitalization in 2002, and prostate surgery a few months after that. Bob also once had surgery to correct a blockage in his carotid artery — and he’s been treated for skin cancer in the past.

Despite all his health concerns, though, Bob is loving his life — and is embracing being retired today. “I had a job that I loved,” Bob once revealed. “I was very well paid for it, and now I’m spending my money. I intend to die broke.” What a great motto, if you ask us!
