Bindi Irwin is remembering her late father, Steve Irwin, in a very special way!

The past DWTS winner took to Instagram on Thursday, April 28 to make a big announcement — she and her family are hosting the first-ever US charity gala to honor her dad!

“An exciting announcement and invitation for you guys… For the first time ever, on Saturday May 21, we are holding the Steve Irwin Gala dinner in LA. The night will be a celebration of dad’s life and legacy, raising funds and awareness for the conservation work he loved,” the 17-year-old captioned a photo of Steve holding a crocodile.

“I want to invite you to be a part of this incredible night raising funds for dad’s conservation work with our non-profit organization Wildlife Warriors,” she continued. “Myself, Mum and Robert can’t wait to see you there. Thank you for your support in continuing dad’s work, we couldn’t do it without you.” So sweet!
