Right in the feels. Johnny Galecki was letting all his tears come out after The Big Bang Theory had its final table reading.

“This morning was not an easy one,” the 43-year-old captioned an Instagram photo showing him wiping his eyes. “The final table reading for The Big Bang Theory. So very sad. So very grateful.” The extremely popular CBS comedy will air its last episode on May 16 after 12 seasons of being one of the most watched shows on television.

The Roseanne alum, who plays Leonard on the show, wasn’t the only cast member to share their feelings of the program coming to an end — Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny, also took to Instagram recently.

“Prepare yourselves … for a finale that has truly given me a loss for words. Our whole universe,” the 33-year-old wrote alongside a photo of her script being covered with a bunch of tissues. Take a look at the post below.

Kaley also shared a photo of herself holding the script close to her chest, all while sobbing. Even Courteney Cox, who of course went through a similar situation when Friends wrapped up, commented on the post. “Awww I remember that feeling … and you guys have been together even longer,” the 54-year-old said.

The cast also includes Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch. Back in January, some of them shared how they would like to see the comedy end.

“The elevator. Definitely,” Jim, who plays Sheldon Cooper, told Entertainment Weekly. “That’s one of my wishes for the final episode, that the elevator gets fixed, at least for a minute, and then we get stuck in it.” “It would be a great show ending for me,” Kaley chimed in.

Johnny, as if perfectly predicting the future, said this: “None of us are going to be able to keep from crying during the last taping. We’ve got to justify it in the writing somehow.”

Looks like he was right.
