If you insult Nicole Kidman's clapping, she will clap (pun intended!) back — just ask Andy Cohen. The Bravo host alongside Anderson Cooper recently interviewed the Big Little Lies star and her husband, Keith Urban, during CNN's New Year's Eve live broadcast. Unfortunately, his question about Nicole's now famous clapping at the 2017 Oscars came up in conversation and the couple was less than thrilled.

"You gave Nicole the advice at I think the Oscars to clap with her hands like this so that she wouldn't damage her jewelry. Did you ever expect… that that became such a meme? Everybody was talking about it. Did you ever expect that would become such a thing?" Andy asked the country singer. "I mean, it's called a logical clap when you don't want to slam your hands together with rings," Keith replied.

Keith then turned to his wife and asked, "But what do you want to do?" The actress then criticized Andy's question saying, "I wish that there was more important things to be concerned about or that people were focused on more important things than that sort of clapping. That's what I would say."

Yikes! It sounds like she was not tolerating Andy's questions about her clapping. After the interview finished Andy said, "That was amazing. That was so cool that Nicole Kidman joined in. I think she just shaded me a little bit." Anderson agreed adding, "Well yeah, she did. Yes." Andy then quipped, "I guess she's not coming on my show."

It seems like the interview was all in good fun because Anderson later tweeted, "Watch @NicoleKidman cast some well-deserved shade at @Andy Cohen after he asks her a seriously questionable question on live television." Plus, Nicole and Keith made sure to wish them a happy new year before they ended the interview. Talk about a classy couple!
