Alyssa Milano Teases a ‘Who’s the Boss?’ Reunion: “I Think We’re All Open to It!” (EXCLUSIVE)
Big news for Who’s the Boss? fans! In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, actress Alyssa Milano shared she would totally be down to revive the series, which also starred Tony Danza, Judith Light, Danny Pintauro, and Katherine Helmond.
“I think we’re all open to it,” she said while promoting her Touch by Alyssa Milano fall line at Macy’s in Herald Square last week. “You know, we kind of all feel a specific way about it, which is what we did in in 1983 was very forward-thinking — you know, it was a show about a single, divorced woman, mom, who was living with her very promiscuous mother, who also owned her own business, and that just wasn’t depicted on television at that time, and then she hired a dude to become her housekeeper, who was a single father — I mean, it was very progressive for that time period and what was on TV at that time, which was family sitcoms. So, really, I feel like we were like a Modern Family type of show, so keeping that in mind, I think we’d all be open to it if it lived up to what we did then.”
Alyssa also shared, “I still talk to everybody! The only person who is a little difficult to keep in touch with is Katherine because she’s not on social media or e-mail or anything, she’s in her 90s, but I still communicate with her over the phone and I just saw her — we did the Entertainment Weekly reunion issue and I just got to spend time with her in person, but yeah, we all talk.” When asked who she spoke with the most, she replied, “Probably Tony. He checks in all the time just to see how the kids are doing, he’s very sweet.”
Touch by Alyssa Milano merchandise can be purchased via NFL Shop. The Charmed actress couldn’t help but gush over her adorable new fall collection and shared, “I’m a huge sports fan. Basically, I just got tired of going into stadium shops and not finding anything I would wear outside of the stadium. There are so many female sports fans, so I thought if I was looking for this, clearly, even if 25 percent of female sports fans were looking for something like this, then it would be a success.”
