Tamron Hall may have another daytime TV gig, just days after exiting the Today show!
According to a new report, the 46-year-old journalist may be considering a new co-host gig alongside Kelly Ripa on Live With Kelly. An eyewitness revealed to Page Six that Tamron recently discussed the potential job opportunity with television producer Henry Schleiff at an NYC restaurant.
"He was encouraging her to join Kelly," a source told the entertainment news outlet. "He said, 'Throw your hat in the ring! Lighten things up.'"

Tamron's rep declined to comment on the matter when contacted by Page Six.

Last week, the Today star confirmed her surprise exit from the morning show. "The last 10 years have been beyond anything I could have imagined, and I’m grateful," Tamron said in a statement released by NBC. "I’m also very excited about the next chapter. To all my great colleagues, I will miss you and I will be rooting for you."
"Yesterday was [Tamron's] last day as an anchor on both networks," a rep for NBC said on Wednesday, Feb. 1. "Tamron is an exceptional journalist, we valued and enjoyed her work at Today and MSNBC and hoped that she would decide to stay."

"We are disappointed that she has chosen to leave, but we wish her all the best," the statement read. Tamron was reportedly offered a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract to stay with NBC but turned down the opportunity — leading many fans to speculate Megyn Kelly's addition to Today caused her to leave the show.

Tamron previously joined MSNBC in 2007 and later joined the Today cast in 2014. She hosted the hit morning talk show's third hour, Today's Take, alongside Al Roker.
In April 2016, Kelly's Live With Kelly co-host Michael Strahan announced his departure from the hit morning show after nearly four years on the program.

Since then, Kelly, 46, has featured a plethora of guest hosts on her show, as ABC seems to be in no rush to replace Michael with a permanent co-host. "We’re happy with how things are going so far with the co-host search," an ABC rep recently revealed. "There is no timeline for the selection of the new co-host."
So will Tamron officially join Kelly on Live? Only time will tell!

The actor previously spoke out about his hopes of joining Kelly on Live!.
"I would do anything Kelly asked me, legal or illegal," the Stand by Me star told Closer Weekly in an exclusive interview. "I would do illegal things for Kelly that's how much I love her."
"I will tell you I have no idea what they're doing over there on that show, but I will say I will help out Kelly anyway I can. She is the best," Jerry continued.
