Julie Chen Is Rooting for Megyn Kelly — “I’m a Big Fan of Her Work!”

In the latest issue of Closer Weekly, on newsstands now, The Talk’s Julie Chen shares her thoughts on fellow news personality Megyn Kelly’s move from Fox to NBC.

“I’m a big fan of her work. She’s a hot commodity right now, and I think it’s brilliant on her part!” Julie, 47, confides to Closer of Megyn’s decision to move.

Responding to rumors that Megyn, 46, may take over the third hour of Today, Julie tells Closer the former Fox anchor will have her work cut out for her if she goes head-to-head with Kelly Ripa, 46, on Live.

“If they put her [on at that time] Megyn’s got a big job to do,” says Julie. “At 9 a.m. I think people want to watch the kind of show that Kelly does. She’s funny, smart [and relatable] as a mom and wife.”

But Julie thinks she has what it takes. “Megyn’s great at what she does,” Julie adds.
