The annual event brings out the biggest names in both Hollywood and the fashion industry to celebrate the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. This year's benefit honors Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, who founded the label Comme des Garçons in 1973.
"Rei Kawakubo is one of the most important and influential designers of the past 40 years," Andrew Bolton, the exhibit's curator, explained to Vogue. "By inviting us to rethink fashion as a site of constant creation, recreation, and hybridity, she has defined the aesthetics of our time."
A-list stars including Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady, Kate Hudson, and more are expected to be in attendance at tonight's lavish event — and we can't wait to see what all the stars are wearing!
