Everything Hollywood’s Favorite Couple Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith Have Said About Their 21-Year Marriage

Known as a power couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith appear to have one of the most successful marriages in Hollywood today. Although it may seem like their endless love for one another is enough to keep their marriage afloat, Will and Jada have actually gone through a lot of tough times together as a couple.

In fact, after they wed in 1997, Jada said that her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, had questioned how compatible her daughter was to Will because the pair decided to call themselves “life partners” rather than husband and wife.

“She was like, ‘Well, why don’t you guys just divorce?’”Jada recalled on her Facebook Watch Series, Red Table Talk. But after careful deliberation, Jada knew that she could never divorce the man of her dreams. “One of the ideas for me is that we’ve built such a beautiful community, we’ve built such a beautiful family… we do well together. Breaking that group and community up for me? It’s just never an option.”

Jada, 47, and Will, 50, rang in 21 years of marriage on Dec. 31, 2018. Scroll through the gallery below to see everything that Will and Jada have said about their marriage and their undeniable support for one another!
