In just a few short months, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be parents to their first baby. That said, royal fans have a very fair question: will they hire a nanny? According to an Us Weekly source, Harry and Meg are “looking into hiring the perfect nanny, someone trusted and trained at one of the best places in the U.K.” If they do so, they will follow in the footsteps of Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Meg may be a down-to-earth former American actress, but let’s be real, she’s royalty, and when you’re royalty, you do royal-like things, like get a nanny. Although, unlike Harry, who grew up with a nanny, Meghan was raised in California by parents who went to work every day, so who knows what she’ll decide for their little one.

According to Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are renovating their new home, Frogmore Cottage, to have space for a nanny, security, and sweetly enough, Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. “Meghan, of course, wants her mom to move to the UK,” a royal insider recently told Us Weekly of Doria, who currently lives in LA.

Doria reportedly wants to spend “a lot of time with Meghan and the baby” but isn’t giving up her California digs just yet. “Doria hasn’t made any commitments about doing so,” the source admitted. “She has told friends that she would keep her house in LA but is indeed planning on spending a majority of her time with Meghan.”

Even if Harry and Meg hire a nanny on top of Doria’s help, there’s no guarantee they’ll stay around. Life & Style reported that the staffers are truly afraid of the 37-year-old. “Meghan is a perfectionist and gets stressed if things don’t go her way,” a source told the news outlet. “Her diva demands are wreaking havoc at the palace and staff are dropping like flies!” We’re curious to see how this will all unfold…
