His one and only! Bradley Cooper has been madly in love with his daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, since he welcomed her into his life with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk in March 2017. Although the pair aren’t together anymore, they’ve done everything they can to be great coparents to Lea.

“They both want to keep it civil for [her] sake,” a source previously told Us Weekly about the duo. “They’ll coordinate to make sure their daughter is always with one parent. When Lea has important events in her life, both Bradley and Irina will be there.”

Bradley and Irina broke up after four years of dating in June 2019. Although they agreed on “joint custody” of their daughter, a source told In Touch Weekly, they “try to avoid each other at all costs and can’t bear to be under the same roof.”

“They’ll speak to make arrangements for their daughter, but that’s about as far as it goes,” the insider explained. Since their separation, Bradley and Irina haven’t been spotted out together. In August 2019, the Mule actor took Lea to Disneyland without his ex. She also made her first red carpet appearance with her dad in October 2019 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

However, the pair had to slow down on their outings once the coronavirus pandemic hit Los Angeles. “I’m with my daughter and my mother and my two dogs, and we have not left the house,” the A Star Is Born actor told People in September 2020. “My mother is going to be 80 and she has a colostomy bag, so I can’t let anybody in the house. And I can’t leave the house, because if she gets it, it’s over.”

In quarantine, Bradley and Lea have been having the best time ever. “We get up, we do swim class in the bathtub,” he said about homeschooling her. But doing it all on his own has made the actor feel like he’s running “a one-man preschool.”

If there’s anything Brad wants Lea to take away from his parenting is that she doesn’t have to go far to find true love. “That’s the thing I want my daughter to have — I just always want her to feel loved,” he previously said on NPR’s “Morning Addition,” adding that he’s also learned a few things from Lea too.

“I guess having a child, and having a family of my own — which is a miracle and something I’ve always dreamt of — has opened me up even more, I guess, to the day, and to be present,” he said.

Thanks to Lea, Bradley has been taking on more incredible projects in Hollywood.
