Fan-favorite Hoda Kotb hasn't been on the Today Show for a while before this morning — so many viewers were wondering where she has been all this time!
Turns out, the TV personality just became a new mom to an adorable baby girl named Haley Joy! On Tuesday, Feb. 21, Hoda, 52, announced she adopted an adorable little girl when phoning into the popular morning talk show even though many fans thought she may have been pregnant.
Shortly after Haley's birth, Hoda opened up about becoming a first-time mom. "I wake up sometimes and go, 'Oh my God, I have a baby!' But it feels totally real," she shared. "I guess if you’ve been waiting this long for something, and you wish for it, pray for it, hope for it, wonder if it will ever be, and then it happens, nothing’s more real. Nothing."
"It’s one of those things where you think you’ve done it all, you think you’ve felt it all," Hoda added. "But I just didn’t know that this kind of love existed."
Since welcoming her bundle of joy, Hoda has been spending her time learning all the ins and outs of parenthood — as well as introducing Haley to all her friends and family! Specifically, her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, and her co-stars, Kathie Lee Gifford, Maria Shriver, Al Roker, and Savannah Guthrie have posed with the baby.
But what after felt like forever without Hoda, she has finally returned to the Today Show! On Monday, April 17, Hoda was thankfully back on the small screen after a two-month-long maternity leave.

During the morning segment, she gushed about her newest addition alongside Savannah, Matt Lauer, and Dylan Dreyer — and even shared the first photo of Haley's cute face!
"I think that by a certain stage in your life you think you have had every experience you are going to have — but then she shows up," Hoda said of Haley on the NBC program, all choked up. "This is beyond a dream, like, you have your dreams, and then this."
"I never believed in love at first site until now," she continued. "She was the missing puzzle piece. I was scared to hold her but then when they put her in my arms, she fit perfectly." So sweet!
