Savannah Guthrie Adores Upstate New York! Tour the ‘Today’ Star’s Lovely Vacation Home

As the long-running star of NBC’s Today, Savannah Guthrie definitely deserves to take some time off and relax with her family. That’s why the iconic news anchor has a vacation home in upstate New York, where she loves getting away with her husband, Michael Feldman, and their two kids, Vale and Charles.

Although it’s unclear how long Savannah and Michael have been the owners of their country property, the correspondent has opened up many times about her beloved house. “We have a place in New York,” she gushed to People in October 2017.

Savannah joked while “it’s not a long drive” upstate, the two-hour trip feels like “an eternity” for their children. Fortunately, the doting mom has come up with fun ways to keep her tots entertained.

“For Charley, we coordinate time of departure around his nap,” the Princesses Save the World author explained to the outlet, while “Vale watches Peppa Pig on repeat.”

Savannah has also given fans glimpses inside her gorgeous upstate abode — which features multiple bathrooms, bedrooms, an indoor gym, a gigantic kitchen and plenty of acreage. Because the Georgetown University alum and her handsome hubby were social distancing at the residence at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, she was hosting Today from her dwelling.

“I’m home. I’m home. The reason [is because] my family is upstate,” Savannah explained during an episode of Today in April 2020. “So I’m sticking close to the family and coming to the city less and less. I’m trying to work from home and also, frankly, this what those officials are telling us what to do. So that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.”

Aside from inviting viewers into her home while appearing on Today from her basement, Savannah also shared tons of photos of her family spending quality time. While in lockdown, the Emmy Award winner came up with fun ways to keep herself and her kids occupied in isolation.

In September 2020, Savannah revealed her time quarantining in upstate New York was over as she uploaded a pic of Vale and Charley riding their scooters in the Big Apple. “City kids back in action,” she captioned the post.
