Life at home couldn’t be better for Sara Haines and her family. The mom of three to kids Sandra, Alec and Caleb, whom she shares with husband Max Shifrin has been spending most of her time with her family at their Williamsburg, Brooklyn, home.

Every day, the Good Morning America host tries to clean up after her kids as much as possible. “When Alec wakes up, he’s in full play mode,” Sara explained about her son, who likes to use their living room to play hide-and-seek. But when it’s between the hours of 1 and 2 p.m., Alec will take a nap before he gets up to see what his parents are doing.

However, Sara doesn’t mind because she loves to goof around with her son, especially when they have music playing in the background. “We love Bob Dylan, Queen and Talking Heads,” she said during a previous interview with The New York Times.

One of the things Sara loves about her property is that it resides in the heart of Brooklyn. Every Sunday, she’ll take her kids to Domino Park on the East River so they can marvel at the beautiful scenery. “It’s hard to get Alec to leave,” she joked. “They have lots of climbing equipment and great water views.”

But once they get the strength to go, it’s off to the grocery store for them, and luckily for Sara, there’s a Whole Foods next to where she lives. “All of us follow a paleo diet as much as possible,” the journalist explained about her family’s diet. “We want to eat unprocessed foods, but we’re also dairy friendly. We have ground beef or ground turkey mixed with onions, this really great cauliflower casserole that we make during the week and various kinds of vegetables, including yams and broccoli.” Sounds delicious!

After their grocery haul, Sara and her hubby will place all their healthy foods in their white open space kitchen, which is filled with tons of fruit. If any of the kids get hungry during the night, then they know where to go to get a great snack.
