WATCH: First Trailer From “The Sound Of Music Live!”
NBC has released the first trailer for "The Sound of Music Live!" and we can't wait to watch on December 5!
The trailer shows rehearsals for the production including Carrie Underwood, who will play Maria, singing the beloved song "My Favorite Things." You also see Carrie dancing with her Captain, Stephen Moyer, and with her seven Von Trapp children.
The 3-hour live performance is based on the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein stage version, which differs slightly from the Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer 1965 film.
