Vanna White Left Shocked as Ryan Seacrest Falls Hard on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Stage While Running

Ryan Seacrest’s latest antics on Wheel of Fortune sent him tumbling to the ground yet again! The game show host left Vanna White gasping when he did a complete belly flop onto the ground during an episode of the show.

The escapades took place during a recent episode of the show when the costars talked about an interesting U.K. tradition.

“I found my new favorite festival,” Ryan, 50, said while on stage. “It’s called Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling Festival in the U.K.”

Vanna, 68, stood next to him holding up a wheel of cheese that had the Wheel of Fortune logo printed on it.

“Participants race down a hill, chasing a wheel of cheese, but in the end you get the cheese. So what could be better?” Ryan asked Vanna.

Behind them, the screen showed clips of people participating in the tradition, chasing after the cheese while it was rolling down a hill.

“You ready to try it?” Vanna asked Ryan, to which he responded, “I was born for this.”

Vanna placed the cheese wheel on the floor and then rolled it across the stage. Ryan took off running after it with a determined look in his eye. He reached out to grab the wheel of cheese but ended up falling flat onto his stomach, hitting the ground with a thud.

Vanna clasped her hands over her mouth and looked on in disbelief. “Oh, no! Are you gonna be OK?” she asked Ryan as he slowly got up from the ground.

Ryan walked over to the wheel of cheese, picked it up and then ran back over to where Vanna was standing. “He’s going to be OK,” she remarked. “He’s OK.”

The American Idol host held the cheese wheel up above his head in a victory stance. He then crouched over as the episode came to an end.

Wheel of Fortune shared the clip from the episode on the show’s official Instagram account, sparking hilarious fan responses and praise for Ryan’s dedication to the show.

“Who in the wheel world knew that Ryan could run that fast for cheese?” one person said in a comment.

“Cheese is an integral part of my workout plan,” Ryan responded.

“Ryan is wonderful. Wheel is where I’ve really learned and appreciated how awesome he is. Great choice!” someone else wrote.

“Vanna had better be ready to step in for Ryan in case he injures himself!” another said.

This isn’t the first time that Ryan has ended up on the floor on this season of Wheel of Fortune. He was knocked to the ground during a January episode of the show when a contestant excitedly went to hug him after correctly guessing a phrase in the bonus round.

“I’m good, I’m good,” Ryan said while getting up from the floor after taking a tumble.

He also purposefully ended up on the floor during a past episode of the show when he showed off his breakdancing moves.

“Embarrassingly, a few weeks ago, a while back, I showed off my breakdancing lack of skills,” he reflected.

A fan wrote into the show, asking if Ryan had to “take a couple of aspirins after that move.”

“I think it was more than a couple and I’m still feeling the pain right now. But thank you for your concern and asking,” he hilariously replied.
