Vanessa Williams Engaged to Jim Skrip

Third time’s a charm! Vanessa Williams is engaged to her boyfriend Jim Skrip.

The former Desperate Housewives star announced her engagement to the Buffalo-native during a taping of The Queen Latifah Show on Friday, Sept. 26.

“Vanessa, I have been trying to have a conversation with you ladies and gents, but I am blinded by the light coming from that bling ring on your finger,” Queen Latifah jokingly says. “Is there something that we need to know around here?”

Williams then replied, “I got engaged. I had a lot of good things happen while I’ve been on this lovely trip. I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal on Broadway and I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago, so it’s been a lot of blessings on this trip.”

The mother of four was last married to Rick Fox until she filed for divorce in August 2004. Prior to that, Vanessa was married to Ramon Hervey for 10 years before they called it quits in 1997.
