Tyra Banks is getting candid about new motherhood.
"Some mornings you wake up, and you're like, 'Where am I? I don't know what's going on. And I know it's not a good idea for me to drive right now because I did not sleep,'" the 42-year-old actress said of becoming a first-time mom to her baby son, York.
"So I balance that and his dad helps, and we go back and forth so that's good," Tyra told E! News.
Thankfully, when it comes to diaper duty, the supermodel said she and her boyfriend, Erik Asla, are quite the tag team! "Erik does about 40 percent diaper duty at night," Tyra continued. "So we're almost fifty-fifty."
The happy couple previously announced the birth of their son, York, via surrogate on Jan. 27. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world," Tyra wrote on Instagram at the time.
