Nearly two weeks after Tracy Morgan was hospitalized following a six-vehicle crash, a rep for the comedian confirms he is continuing his recovery elsewhere.
"Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks," says a statement from the rep. "While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go."
The update continues, "He and [fiancée] Megan wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him."
The 30 Rock actor suffered a broken leg, femur, nose and several ribs in the collision which killed his friend and mentor, James McNair. On June 17, Tracy was upgraded from critical to fair condition, with his rep telling Closer, "His personality is certainly starting to come back."
The driver, Kevin Roper, who caused the accident when his tractor-trailer slammed into the limo bus carrying Tracy, pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide and assault by auto. He is currently out of jail on a $50,000 bond.
