Tracker's Fiona Rene Wants Reenie Greene's Backstory in Season 3
“Noble Rot” – Reenie gets Colter to take a case involving a woman missing from a high-end wellness retreat in Napa designed for CEOs, on the CBS Original series TRACKER, Sunday, Nov. 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+*(live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Tracker is a TV phenomenon, thanks to the show’s incredible cast, including Fiona Rene, who portrays Reenie Greene. The actress dished on what she hopes for her character in season 3, which was recently announced by CBS.

“I hope that we get to see more Reenie backstory, just like we get some more Colter backstory,” she told TV Insider in an interview published on Thursday, March 6. “We mentioned in episode 10, season 1 about Reenie’s dad and sister. And I’m just so interested in seeing more of her upbringing and if it’s what we kind of assume or if it’s something totally different.”

“I think she’s such a unique fiery force of nature that I’m like, what family made this person to be who she is? And obviously, I want to keep helping the tracker track,” Fiona, 36, continued.

Additionally, fans are hoping to get to see more of Reenie’s relationship with Elliott unfold on screen in season 2, which is currently airing on CBS. Elliott, played by Michael Rady, appeared in the March 9 episode of the show.

“I do know that Elliot sticks around for a little bit. And in episode 4 of this season, whenever Colter and Elliot met for the first time, that was stressful!” Fiona said. “And I think Reenie was more stressed than anyone, but the guys actually handled it really well. They handled it with maturity and respect and honor for each other, which made Reenie feel the same.”

“But I also think that Colter and Reenie’s relationship is only becoming more grounded,” she added. “And I keep saying a foundation of trust and respect, so that’s happening with Elliot, but that’s also happening with her and Colter more. She’s letting go of the night at the hotel a couple of years back. She’s starting to finally let go of it.”

“Shades of Gray” – While tracking the son of a prominent New Jersey cupcake chain founder, Colter gets thrust into the middle of a violent mafia war, on the CBS Original series TRACKER, Sunday, March. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Additionally, Fiona appeared in a segment on KCAL News on Thursday, reflecting on being a part of such a successful show.

“Honestly, I’m the luckiest girl in the whole world, come on, 14-year-old me is rolling around on the floor and can’t believe that we’re here,” she shared.

She also teased what’s ahead for season 2, episode 12, which is set to air on Sunday, March 9. A clip from the episode was shown.

“Colter has to go to Ohio to find this missing mother,” Fiona said. “When I read the script, it was shocking how she goes missing and Reenie cares but coincidentally is also going to Indianapolis for a deposition for a client of hers that may or may not be a problem later on, and she offers assist and Colter, as per usual, accepts, and so she goes in boots on the ground, and as you can see in a clip, has to go to a storage unit to maybe find some evidence and gets into a little bit of a hee-haw on the way there.”

Season 3 of Tracker will premiere during the 2025-2026 broadcast season and will consist of somewhere between 18 and 22 episodes, Justin Hartley, who plays Colter Shaw, said in a February 20 Instagram video.
