Well, that’s not nice. Judgemental fans took to Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 4 to slam Tori Spelling‘s newest photo of four of her kids on their first day of school.

“They just rolled out of bed and put on what was on the floor,” one user wrote. Another added, “They’re looking somewhat disheveled and not entirely happy on their first day of school.” One commented, “The kids are fat. Fat isn’t healthy.”

But don’t worry! Tori, 45, proved just how much of a protective mom she is when she slammed the mommy-shamers for their rude and inconsiderate words. “I am a proud mama bear and I enjoy sharing our family journey with my family, friends, fans and online supportive and loyal community,” she said.

Tori continued, “For all the individuals on here that felt the need to #momshame and #kidshame me and my children I say ‘Shame on you!’ I was raised to believe that if you can’t say anything nice about someone then don’t say anything at all.”

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum posted the photo of her and husband Dean McDermott’s kids Liam, 11, Stella, 10, Hattie, 6, and Finn, 6 and captioned the pic, “School officially began today for my 4 older kiddos… This marks the first year that they’ll all be in the same school at the same time. You know what that means? For one year and one year only ONLY 1 drop off= Happy Mom. And, Finn started Kindergarten at his new school and felt so proud to be at his big boy school with his older brother and sisters.” Their one-year-old son, Beau, was missing from the snap.

Sweetly enough, many of Tori’s 1.1 million followers had nice things to say about the snap of the little ones in their first day of school attire. “Your children look just fine. You seem like a good mother. The people who judge and have nothing nice to say are the ones who are insecure about themselves and their own actions,” one wrote. Another added, “That’s definitely awesome to have them all at the same school even if it’s only for 1 year! Wishing them all a great year and hope they make many of good friends!”
