Tori Spelling Celebrates Daughter Hattie’s 8th Birthday — and Reunites With Mom Candy Spelling!
If anyone knows how to throw a great party, it’s Tori Spelling! The BH90210 star proved she’s one of Hollywood’s best moms as she threw her daughter Hattie an over-the-top 8th birthday celebration on October 13.
The 46-year-old beauty brought the birthday girl and her other kiddos along as they celebrated Hattie’s special day with a visit to the American Girl Store and Cafe at The Grove in Los Angeles. Tori’s husband, Dean McDermott, was also present as was the actress’ mom, Candy Spelling!
In photos from the grand occasion, Tori, Dean and their adorable brood of kids were all smiles as they rang in Hattie’s birthday on Sunday afternoon. Throughout her party, Hattie looked happier than ever as she shopped around the doll store, munched on some sushi and enjoyed a delicious birthday cake.
The proud mom — who shares Hattie and siblings Liam, 12, Stella, 11, Finn, 7, and Beau, 2, with her longtime hubby — also documented the special day on her social media account. She took to Instagram and shared the most heartwarming tribute in honor of the sweet youngster’s birthday.

“Happy 8th birthday to my HATTIE CAT … my beautiful, unique, free-spirited, fiery soul, strong-willed, artistic, indigo child!” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum wrote in the caption. “You are supremely YOU Hattie Margaret McDermott and never change! I love that about you.”
In her post, Tori gushed over all the incredible qualities her daughter has possessed. “You have your own opinions and style and never conform. I truly believe you will be impactful on leading the next generation of powerful and intuitive humans!” she continued. “Happy Birthday my loving kitty cat and magical unicorn.” Aww!
Although fans have wondered if Tori and Dean are done having kids, the Spelling it Like it Is author took it upon herself to open up about the issue. While hanging out at the “Nights of the Jack” VIP Preview Night in early October, Tori revealed whether she and Dean have baby No. 6 on the mind.
“You know what, I feel so blessed with the five I have, I wouldn’t think to chance it and we’re happy and our family is complete so probably no,” Tori admitted to Closer Weekly and other reporters. “I don’t ever like to say ‘never’ because I believe what’s meant to be is meant to be.”
We imagine Tori and Dean have their hands full enough with five!
