After opening up about his incredible 89 lb. weight loss in January, comedian Tom Arnold showed up to the South by South West Film Festival this past weekend looking even thinner than he did two months ago.
From the looks of it, Arnold has continued his weight loss journey, and some critics are saying the True Lies star is taking it too far.
A year ago, the 55-year-old weighed almost 300 lbs., revealing that his motivation to lose weight was the birth of his son Jax last April. The actor realized that if he didn’t make a big lifestyle change, he wouldn’t be around to watch his infant son grow up.
Here’s a look at Arnold’s transformation over the past 10 months:
The actor weighed around 287 lbs. when he and wife Ashley welcomed son Jax in April. He decided to get healthy for his new son.
The comedian showed off a slightly smaller frame at a Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation event in early June.
Arnold's weight loss became even more apparent when he turned up to a Paley Center event in July wearing a shirt that was too big for him.
The star finally got some clothes that fit which showed off his already-significant weight change at a SiriusXM party in October.
Before he sat down in January to talk about his amazing transformation, Arnold debuted his trim figure (which he achieved after 8 months of hard work) at the American Hustle premiere.
