Tobey Maguire Poses With Ex Jennifer Meyer After Divorce Announcement — Will They Get Back Together?

It’s over — or at least we thought it was. Tobey Maguire and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, announced more than a year ago that they sadly planned to divorce after nine years of marriage. However, fans are wondering if the couple is getting back together after the two posed side-by-side at Jennifer’s new jewelry line launch party in early December.

The duo has not officially filed divorce, but it seems the idea of them calling off their split isn’t likely. “Their relationship is much better,” a source told People. “But they’re definitely not reconciling.” We were definitely hoping for a different answer!

But, we guess they’re still close enough that Tobey wanted to support Jennifer at the LA fashion event (she launched the line with Channing Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum). “The two seemed to be friendly and on good terms, and he genuinely seemed happy to support her,” an observer told the news outlet. “But Tobey definitely left as soon as he could. Jennifer went about her hostess duties and wasn’t phased by this at all.”

Back in October 2016 the pair announced their split with a joint statement. “After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” the duo told People. “As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”

Tobey, 42, and Jennifer, 40, first met in 2003 and later married in 2007. They are parents to two kids, daughter Ruby, 11, and son Otis, 8. Here’s hoping they decide to work it out for the sake of their two kids!
