Tim Allen Talks Rebooting ‘Last Man Standing’ — “We Have so Much Left in Our Tank” (EXCLUSIVE)
Fans were shocked when Tim Allen‘s popular sitcom Last Man Standing was canceled by ABC last year, but now it’s joining Roseanne and Will & Grace on the growing list of TV reboots, as it’s been picked up by FOX for the fall.
Now, in an exclusive new interview with Closer Weekly, Tim shares his thoughts on the return of the series. “I’m excited because we have so much left in our tank,” Tim tells Closer. “There were a lot of stories we hadn’t gotten to.”
Among the topics Tim, 64, wants to tackle is guns, as his character “owns a sporting-goods store that has firearms, so we’re going to have to deal with that somehow.” Hot-button issues haven’t hurt Roseanne‘s ratings, so Tim might be right on target.
