These baby boomers are all grown up!
Now in their 60s, the cast of the TV show Thirtysomething have come a long way since defining an entire generation, making television history in the LGBTQ community, and coining its namesake, now an Oxford English Dictionary-approved word.
Though it only ran for four years, the impact of the series, which focused on yuppie angst, the intricacies of marriage, and navigating friendship, was great.
The term "Thirtysomething" was just a made-up word back in 1987, when the show premiered, but by 1993, it was added into the dictionary, solidifying it as a "real" word. It was also the first show to ever include a scene with two men in bed together.

From continuing decades-long professional acting careers to making waves in the directing sphere, these cast members — Ken Olin, Timothy Busfield, Polly Draper, Patricia Wettig, Melanie Mayron, Peter Horton, and Mel Harris — have influenced what we have watched on both the big and silver screen in so many important ways.
With this year being marking the 30-year anniversary of the show's debut, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to take a look at where these talented actors and directors are now!
