ABC's The View is returning from its summer hiatus, and lots of changes are in store for the popular talk show!
Today, the show's staff returned to work in a new studio and office space, but it seems not everyone is too pleased about the newest accommodations, a new report reveals.
The move means The View's Rosie O'Donnell and LIVE With Kelly & Michael co-host Kelly Ripa will now be working in the same building, prompting some to think the pair's ongoing feud may become even more intense.
The duo have reportedly not spoken since 2006 following Rosie's accusation that Kelly is homophobic.
“The building is the entire city block but I am not sure it is big enough to hold both Rosie and Ripa,” an ABC source told NY Daily News.
The View is taking over Katie Couric's former studio after having spent 16 years in the main ABC building. Rosie will reportedly occupy Katie's large office in the 66th Street NYC digs.
Another source, however, told Confidenti@l there is little need to worry.
“They have more chance bumping into each other at an ABC party or advertiser event then in the ABC building. Kelly arrives, does her show and leaves. Rosie, who has a history of being a much more hands-on producer, has offices on the other side of the building. The only way they will meet is if Kelly is a guest on “The View,” which isn't going to happen,” the source said.
