RIP‘The Nanny’ Star Ann Morgan Guilbert Has Died at Age 87

Rest in peace, Ann Morgan Guilbert.

The actress — best known for starring as Yetta Rosenberg on The Nanny — sadly died on Wednesday, June 14 after battling cancer, her daughter Nora Eckstein confirmed to the Associated Press.

Throughout her 40 years in Hollywood, Ann starred on several hit TV shows including The Dick Van Dyke Show, Grey's Anatomy, The Andy Griffith Show and, most recently, the CBS comedy Life in Pieces.

Ann is survived by her two daughters, Nora and actress Hallie Todd. Our thoughts are with Ann's family and friends during this difficult time.

Fran Drescher (Fran Fine)

In addition to The Nanny, the comedienne is known for her starring roles on sitcoms Living With Fran and Happily Divorced. She has also appeared in movies Saturday Night Fever, Stranger in Our House, Gorp, This Is Spinal Tap, and The Beautician and the Beast.

The actor — who is known for portraying British characters onscreen, but is American! — is most recognized for playing butler Niles on The Nanny and for his two guest appearances as Professor Moriarty on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Daniel guest-starred on a 2015 episode of Gotham.

Lauren Lane (C. C. Babcock)

Though Lauren is most known for her supporting role on The Nanny, she has also acted in movies Interface and Gen¹³ and on TV shows Hunter and L.A. Law. Her last television appearance was as a guest-star on a 2010 episode of The Fran Drescher Show.

In addition to The Nanny, Nicholle is most recognized for portraying Ryce Newton in the Beethoven film and TV franchise and for voicing Supergirl in the animated series DC Animated Universe.
