Jeff Mauro on Working With ‘The Kitchen’ Cast — “We’ve Become a Family”

We love tuning in to The Kitchen on Food Network — mostly because of the amazing cast!

Jeff Mauro, Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee, Geoffrey Zakarian, and Marcela Valladolid have co-hosted the popular talk show together since its start in 2014 — and their onscreen chemistry is so fun and entertaining!

In an exclusive new interview, Jeff, 38, opened up about the crew's offscreen chemistry. "It's great. We have fun on set and honestly, we've become a family," he told Closer Weekly.

"Everybody kind of has their role. You have the dad, you've got the mom, you have Sunny who's like my older sister and I'm like the doofus brother that's just getting in trouble but it's loveable at the end of the day," he added of his co-hosts.

The popular series is now in its thirteenth season. During the hour-long episodes, the five chefs make different meals and give helpful cooking tips for the viewers (we've used many of them in our own kitchens!). And big things are coming for the show in the future.

"We just started filming Season 14. We have fun doing it, it really is a fun job," Jeff revealed to Closer. "We have some fun guests coming up." We can hardly wait to watch!
