A ‘Golden Girls’ Cookbook Is Reportedly in the Works and We Couldn’t Be More Excited

Get ready to become a master chef because a Golden Girls-themed cookbook is reportedly in the works! The hit 80s TV show featured our four favorite ladies who not only spoke their minds but could also make a great meal, too. And with this new cookbook, fans of the hit show can now create all of their favorite dishes cooked by Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia! 

Today recently reported that the cookbook is set to be released by 2020 and will contain recipes that were featured on the series, which previously ran on NBC from 1985 until 1992. The upcoming book will allegedly be published by an imprint of Disney Publishing called Kingswell. 

Although Kingswell has yet to release a lot of details about the book, Bable revealed one classic recipe that we can expect to see in the upcoming cookbook — a Double Fudge Chocolate Cheesecake! 

Earlier this year, a Golden Girls-themed hot sauce collection was similarly released in stores and each flavor complimented a different Golden Girls character. The four flavors were called Bea Spicy, Desert Rose, Sicilian Fire, and Hot Slut. The sauces were a great way for fans to remember the show and even bring a little bit of nostalgia home with them! 

In a previous interview, Golden Girls actress Betty White explained how much fun she had shooting with her former co-stars on the show. “We adored each other,” Betty, now 96, once said. “It was such a special experience. Between scenes, instead of going to our dressing rooms, we’d sit there and yak about very intimate things.” We can’t wait for the cookbook to hit stores soon!
