They have been together for ten years.

But Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone looked like a pair of love-struck teenagers yesterday at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards, where they told Closer Weekly that keeping their relationship alive is “easy”.

Ben was honored in Variety’s '10 Directors to Watch' brunch at the star-studded event, which took place at the Parker Palms Springs resort.

They revealed to Closer that being able to work together is the secret to their rock-solid relationship.

Melissa sad, “We met working at the Groundlings Theatre, it's just kind of easy. I don't know, I think we do what everybody else does.

“I think we do better when we're all together and we move like a tribe with the kids and we just keep showing up in random states.”

Ben added, “Movies require traveling and long hours so these were hours we were able to spend together. It actually created more time for us to spend together.”

The couple, who have two children, are collaborating on "Tammy" – a road-trip story also starring Susan Sarandon and Dan Aykroyd, due for release in July.

The "Bridesmaids" star, who looked stunning in a black floral dress, beamed with pride and couldn’t take her eyes off her husband as he accepted the award yesterday.

She later revealed to Closer Weekly the accolade is well-deserved .

“It's amazing. He's kind of living in this editing room and working on the film everyday and to have it be recognized before it's really released, it's really exciting,” she said, adding that the couple are working on something together for next year.
