When the hit sitcom, The Brady Bunch, premiered in 1969, Barry Williams won over the audience as teen heartthrob Greg. But now, as he enters his sixth decade, Barry tells Closer he’s actually having his best year ever.

“This is the most rewarding time of my life,” Barry, who turned the big 6-0 on Sept. 30, with plans to celebrate on Oct. 6 at the four-star Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Missouri, tells Closer. “I’m entering this new phase. My priorities have shifted to what’s important in life.”

And although Barry still has his blue eyes and boyish charm, he’s still looking for love. The twice-married actor admits, “There is an interest by women who would like to know more about my life,” but what he really enjoys is learning about someone new. “One of the beautiful things about maturity is learning how to listen.”

“I am attracted to people who are optimistic. I also like someone who enjoys romance, laughter and travel,” he reveals of his ideal woman.

So would Barry pop the question again if he found the right woman? “I don’t know if I need a governmental contract to determine my relationship,” he tells Closer. “But never say never!
