Get well soon, Tamar Braxton!

The 38-year-old singer was noticeably absent from the majority of last evening’s new Dancing with the Stars episode after being hospitalized for pneumonia on Monday, Nov. 9.

“Tamar is not here. You’ve noticed that. She was taken to the hospital earlier today midday through dress rehearsal,” co-host Tom Bergeron said at the beginning of the program. “We don’t have all the information right now. She might return in time to dance live here. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.”

Though Tamar — who is paired with pro Val Chmerkovskiy this season — missed most of the live broadcast, she did return to the show to shakily perform a group dance with Val, fellow competitor Nick Carter, and his partner Sharna Burgess.

Following the group’s rumba — Tamar reportedly returned to DWTS to avoid elimination from the show — Nick admitted the Grammy winner was “unstable” on the dance floor.

“She was unstable. So on top of everything else I needed to know and didn’t learn because of our lack of rehearsals, I had to really put her first and assume that responsibility and really just kind of make sure that she was taken care of,” Nick told Us Weekly.

Tamar — who received a score of 27/30 for her group dance performance — remains in the competition at this time and is scheduled to appear on next week’s DWTS episode.
