Susan Sarandon recently welcomed her first grandchild, Marlowe Mae Martino — whose mom is the star’s eldest daughter, Eva Amurri Martino!

But the 67-year-old is not likely to be your average grandparent. “She’s said she intends to be an ‘Auntie Mame’ sort of gran,” a source close to the actress tells Closer. “Susan will teach her about all kinds of crazy things and take her traveling. She will be very hands-on!”

Susan’s free-spirited nature has gone into high gear since she began dating Jonathan Bricklin, 37 — her partner in the ping-pong-themed NYC night-club Spin. The Oscar-winner “insists she and Jonathan have a lot in common,” says the source, despite him being much younger.

“They love attending sporting events — especially hockey games — and visiting art galleries, going to concerts and traveling to places like Italy, Peru and Amsterdam.” Still, she’s not ready to take it to the next level.

“Susan and Jonathan spend most of their time together, although she has no desire at this point to move in with him,” the source says. And as far as Susan’s concerned, their age difference is nobody’s business.

“[She] couldn’t care less about what people think of her dating a 37-year-old,” shares the source. “In fact, she’s never cared what anyone thinks of her at all!”
