You go, girl! It looks like Suri Cruise was enjoying the simpler things in life as she was recently spotted rollerblading through the streets of New York City on Thursday, May 16. The 13-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise looked like she was having a blast as she was pictured rolling around town — literally!

As Suri whipped herself up and down the blocks and avenues, her sweet nanny — who was actually teaching her how to rollerblade — trailed closely behind. The adorable kiddo is no stranger to venturing around the Big Apple and has been living an extra fun life lately after officially becoming a teenager last month.

To mark the birthday milestone, Suri enjoyed her special day in the West Village neighborhood of New York City with a friend as her nanny accompanied them. The trio rang in the birthday bash with a trip to the nail salon to get their nails done. So cute!

The adorable youngster looked cuter than ever while hitting the streets of NYC. Suri wore a bright red dress that fell just above her knees. She also donned a matching helmet to protect her head in case she fell. So cute (and practical)!

Suri was a girl on a mission as she had a super fun time winding in and out pedestrians on her rollerblades. The teen’s nanny also stood by her side as she practiced. Aww!

Suri loves venturing around her native New York City. In mid April, she was spotted taking photos of flowers around town. Suri was seen bending down and getting nice and close while snapping pics of the brightly-colored blossoms. How sweet!

Although she lives a life of luxury, Katie likes to make sure that fame and fortune doesn’t go to her daughter’s head. “Suri is a great kid. She is so sweet and well-mannered. She’s extremely polite and respectful,” a source recently told Us Weekly about her. “She’s just a good girl who is a joy to be around. Katie has done things right with her because she’s very grounded and down to earth. She doesn’t come across as spoiled or like a celebrity kid at all. She’s kind and she always shows gratitude.”

Although Katie is an A-list celebrity, she always makes time for her little girl. “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now,” Katie revealed to Town & Country in March 2017. “It’s very important that I’m present and she has a stable, innocent childhood. I feel so blessed to do what I do, but there’s nothing in the world better than watching your child succeed.”
