Steve Harvey Has a Lot of Love to Give His Big Family! Meet the TV Star’s 7 Children

Steve Harvey has become a staple on daytime TV as the host of Family Feud and The Steve Harvey Show, but when he’s around his kids, the star is just a dad. Despite his celebrity status, Steve is a typical loving father to his seven children, Karli, Brandi, Broderick, Wynton, Morgan, Jason and Lori.

The legendary comedian’s blended family has quite a few branches as Steve welcomed his kids during three different marriages. He first experienced parenthood with wife Marcia Harvey, who gave birth to their twins, Brandi and Karli, in 1982. The couple — who were married from 1980 to 1994 — later welcomed their son, Broderick, in 1991.

After they split, Steve expanded his brood during his relationship with his second spouse, Mary Lee Harvey. The pair welcomed their son, Wynton, in 1997, but their union ended in divorce after nine years together in 2005.

Steve experienced fatherhood once again after he exchanged vows with his third wife, Marjorie Harvey, in 2007. Instead of welcoming children together, however, the TV presenter adopted Marjorie’s three kids, Morgan, Jason and Lori. Since blending his family with Marjorie, Steve feels like the luckiest guy on Earth.

“It was like being reborn,” he told People in May 2016. “I messed up so many times in my life. She made all the difference. When you’re happy at home, you can make a lot of things happen.”

Though Steve is extremely close with all of his kids, he revealed they weren’t too happy when he first introduced them to Marjorie and her children. “I said, ‘Look, you don’t like it? Deal with it. I don’t need y’all’s permission,'” Steve recalled to the outlet, while Marjorie chimed in, noting, “When you’re dealing with a blended family, everyone is coming from a place of broken.”

But because Steve and his love knew their romance “was right,” they wanted to prove to their kids that they would be a strong family unit. “I just told them, ‘Everyone is included. Everyone has access to their parents. Whatever you didn’t have before, don’t let that interfere with what you can have now,'” she shared. “Now we’re Mom and Dad to everybody.”

In addition to their seven kids, Steve and Marjorie are also doting grandparents. The businessman once opened up about his life as a grandfather during a chat with InTouch Weekly. “When I see my kids and grandkids getting to do and see things in different parts of the world, it makes it all worth it,” he gushed.
