At age 61, Steve Harvey has never looked better! The Family Feud host debuted a new look via Instagram when he recently gave his son Jason Harvey a sweet birthday shout-out on Tuesday, Aug. 28. Instead of rocking just his signature mustache, Steve donned a new gray beard in the pics and fans couldn't help but notice his altered appearance.
"Happy birthday [to my] second oldest son, Jason Harvey, I'm proud of you, son," he captioned the snapshot of himself with Jason and his grandson Noah. As soon as Steve's followers saw his new look, they instantly complimented the TV star on his new facial hair. "I like the beard!" one fan commented and another wrote, "Keep the beard Steve it looks good!"
After the father-of-four's eponymous daytime talk show, Steve, was recently renewed for Season 2, he told Entertainment Tonight that it was time for him to change up his look. "This year we launched a new season so every now and then I reinvent myself," he said before he jokingly added, "I might keep it, I might not, I don't know, man. It's really up to the wife."
Steve added that this was not the first time that he decided to grow a beard. Since he was not working last summer, he wanted to grow out his facial hair but ended up changing his mind because of his gray hair. "Last year there wasn't enough gray in the mustache yet. It looked like I had stuff in it. So I had to wait another year," he shared.
Now Steve is trying out a new 'do that keeps him looking just as handsome as ever. He said, "I'm gonna see how the beard game go. I'm gonna just do something different. I'm gonna stay fly till I die."
