As a new parent, Simon Cowell understands the difficulties of traveling with a small child.

But he wasn’t too thrilled when a disgruntled airline passenger made a fuss about the star’s 13-month-old son during a recent flight from London to Miami. Simon even slammed the “grumpy” passenger for not being empathetic!

“He asked to be moved. Complained to the staff. And there was a lot of sighing and tutting. The other passengers were amazing,” he added in a subsequent tweet.

Simon was reportedly traveling with his girlfriend and the mother of his child, Lauren Silverman, 37.

Last month, the former ‘American Idol’ judge opened up about the joys of being a new father in an interview with the ‘Daily Star.’

“[Fatherhood has] been fun and much easier than I thought,” he said. “[Eric is] adorable.”
