Simon Cowell Plays Darts With Son Eric While at Holiday Event With Girlfriend Lauren Silverman

Some holiday fun! He may be one of the hardest working people in the industry, but even Simon Cowell needs a night off, and that’s exactly what he did recently when he and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman took their son Eric to enjoy a Winter Wonderland.

The 60-year-old was seen partaking in all the activities that the holiday event had to offer, including even trying to win a prize in a dart game. Lauren, 40, also took some time to take her little one down the slope in a snow tube. She even accompanied Eric to ride a toy double decker bus.

The America’s Got Talent judge and his girlfriend have been together since 2013. They welcomed their only son together in 2014. Lauren does have another child, Adam, from her first marriage to Andrew Silverman. However, when it comes to the music mogul, Eric is everything to him. “He’s madly in love with his son,” an insider once exclusively told Closer Weekly. “And he’ll openly tell his friends his intense feeling he has for Eric. He’s turned into a big softie with him.”

While Simon may also be extremely successful, he also revealed that he would never want his only son to be spoiled. “It’s a challenge, but I do want him to have the type of childhood I had, and the same values,” he explained to Daily Mail, adding that “he’s too young to realize” how financially secure the family is at the moment.

“You can’t force things, though. I have heard that some people make a big fuss of sitting their kids in economy while they stay in first class, to teach them the value of it,” the former American Idol judge continued. “I don’t think Eric could care less, but we quite like having him there to talk to.” Eric can also forget about getting a Ferrari as soon as he is old enough to drive.

“Absolutely not, no way, there’s zero chance of that kind of nonsense,” the TV personality said. “He might get a Tesla, but I certainly don’t want him to become one of those kids you see on Instagram who have everything and are already jaded by it all. … I don’t want Eric to be that person. “I’ll tell him, ‘You can enjoy it when you’ve earned it.'”
