Simon Cowell has become a dad for the first time!

A new report claims the former American Idol judge and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, became parents to a healthy baby boy on Valentine’s Day.

Lauren gave birth at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York after she went into labor early this morning.

The music mogul’s rep has yet to comment but it is believed he named the baby Eric after his late father.

Cowell was said to have flown to New York this week so he could be by his partner’s side for the delivery and welcome his son into the world.

“He has had a plane on standby for a week,” a source told Closer.

It was revealed the pair were expecting a child in late July — two weeks after her Lauren’s estranged husband Andrew filed for an at-fault divorce in New York, citing adultery by his wife and naming Simon as a co-respondent.
